We are still looking to raise money to cover little Phoenix’s vet bill. Friday, our bill was sitting at $2,663.00 and we have only raised a little over $1,000 to cover it.

He is at the emergency clinic, where he was dumped AND where we CANNOT have a lingering bill.

Phoenix started eating yesterday, so he is getting close to be able to come off of fluids and go into a foster home, but he have to pay the bill first.

We went to Kendra Scott today and they so very graciously donated this beautiful America necklace and earring set- just in time for the summer and America’s 250th birthday!

THIS SWEET BABY WAS DUMPED AT THE ANIMAL EMERGENCY CLINIC 😓😓😓

You can see the owner ringing the bell and then leaving him at the door and leaving. 😡😡 (video in comments)

They tried to chase the man down and he was too fast. So they brought the pup in and noticed he looked sick. He tested POSITIVE for parvo and he had coccidia and hookworms. 😢😢😢

To make sure he is getting the care he needs and constant attention we are keeping him at the emergency clinic.

His estimate for care for the next three days is $2555.00- $3270.

WE CANNOT KEEP UP HIS CARE IF WE DO NOT RAISE AT LEAST THE LOW END OF THIS ESTIMATE.

During clean up and bandage change on our sweet Rocky today- I got to witness him walking on his back left leg!! I was so nervous this week about him not putting weight on it and the potential of losing him because he can’t live with no left limbs- but he has fought along side with us and we have lift off!

We have a long way to go but this is major for movement for our sweet Rocky.

UPDATE ON ROCKY

I wanted to let Rocky settle in last night and as I did, I noticed that he wasn’t keen on moving on his back left leg much. I gave him food and put him up to it. He ate it, but did not really want to move from the bowl. I moved him to a comfortable place in the kennel and this morning when I went to see him he was laying on his side.

He went to work with me today where we did X-rays and really maneuvered him around. Not only is his front leg unsaveable ( which we knew would happen) , his back leg has some swollen tissue and is painful. We got the crust removed from his jaw and it is cracked in the bottom. Which explains him not super interested in eating, but trying. His front leg was also SUPER full of infection, so we got that drained. Which brought his temperate down and helped a smidge.

He will need to be syringe fed while we wait to see if his mouth will heal. He was given some medication and shots today to see if we can’t get that back leg feeling better.

All of this to say, that as long as Rocky keeps fighting, we are going to keep fighting with him. We are all hopeful.

HELP 😭😭😭

This sweet baby was going to be euthanized at Caddo today. We offered to step in and help so this baby will have a good chance at life.

We are calling him Rocky. He weighs 1.3lbs, he was covered in fleas, his bottom lip is degloved, and his front left leg is COMPLETELY broken out of the socket. He was running a high fever today due to all of the infection but luckily he is willing to eat and we are doing what we can to keep him comfortable.

We have to keep him comfortable until he reaches a little over 2lbs so he can have surgery to have that leg removed and fix his mouth.

We need to raise $700 to get him the care he needs now and to cover the surgeries he will have once he is of weight.

Please consider donating today to Rocky. He is a scared boy but so sweet and I know he will be super happy once we can get him completely healed.

Our sweet Reba had her second and hopefully final surgery today. They removed the second set of tumors on the other side and pulled 24 teeth. 😓😓😓 Poor girl only has 4 teeth left, but at least they are clean!

We raised the money for her first surgery but unfortunately that was not enough for her second.

Today cost us $937.42 😭 ANY amount towards this will be helpful.

We are so thankful for Reba being on the up and up. Please consider donating towards her care so we can continue to help more dogs like her.
