, LSU, Nebraska, Miami and Oklahoma, just to name a few. Some of the biggest names in football history have taken the field at Independence Stadium, such as Pro Football Hall of Famers Art Monk, Bruce Smith, Willie Roaf, Brett Favre and Alan Faneca, as well as future Hall of Famers like Eli Manning - along with many more of the game's best and brightest. Legends of the coaching fraternity have roamed the sidelines during the Independence Bowl - names like Nick Saban, Steve Spurrier, Bob Stoops and Mack Brown. The Independence Bowl is celebrating its 46th anniversary in 202q.
