🎉 What a sale! We’re grateful to everyone who helped make our September 16-20 book sale at the Roseville Library a record-breaker! Thanks to the generosity and enthusiasm of our shoppers, volunteers, and book donors, we netted $14,000—the highest total ever for one of our sales! These proceeds will support all seven Ramsey County Library locations, so they can continue to provide wonderful resources, programs, and services to our community.

And a special thank you to our 2026 Signature Sponsor, Northeast Bank, for their sponsorship of events like this throughout the year and to the HarMar Cub for donating grocery bags. Their support helped make this our most successful sale yet!

Please note that all Ramsey County Library branches will be closed Monday, October 5 for service improvements and on Wednesday, November 11 in observation of Veterans Day. The offices of the Friends and our used bookstores and carts will also be closed.

Starting Oct. 1, Libby users connecting though their Ramsey County Library account will be asked to re-verify their card using the barcode on their Ramsey County Library card and PIN in the Libby app. Users will no longer be able to log in using a username.

When Libby prompts you to verify your library card:
1) Tap Menu.
2) Tap Verify Card under "For Your Attention."
3) Tap Verify Card again, then sign in with your library card barcode and PIN.

If you have trouble, please contact the library. We can check the status of your card and confirm your barcode and PIN.

Today is the day you’ve been waiting for - the legendary $5 Bag Sale at the Roseville Library! We still have a room full of fantastic finds that need a new home. How much can you fit in a bag?

🛍️ The $5 Bag Deal
Fill a grocery-sized bag with as many books, CDs, DVDs, vinyl records, and audiobooks as you can for just $5! We’ll provide the bags, or you can bring your own (standard grocery size). Thank you to Cub Foods of Har Mar for donating bags!

🧩 Special $1 Puzzle Pricing
Puzzles are not included in the bag deal, but they’ve been marked down to just $1 each!

Final days! We’ve been restocking the book sale morning, noon and night and are approaching the end of our storage stock but still have plenty of treasures out on the floor for you to discover.

Our dedicated team of volunteers and staff includes bibliophiles of all stripes, and they’ve been busy flagging their favorites just for you! Whether you’re looking for a gripping mystery, a hidden gem in non-fiction, or the perfect juvenile page-turner for the kids, we’re here to help you find your next great read. Come chat with our team, look around, and take home a recommendation (or ten)!

We are open! Our much-anticipated used book sale runs now through Sunday at the Roseville Library. We have an extensive selection of books for all ages, CDs, DVDs, and puzzles for you to browse. We also have a limited number of vinyl records at this sale (all stock is out on display).

Most items priced at just $2 or less! Puzzles are $5 each. We accept cash, check, credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Proceeds support all seven Ramsey County Library locations.
