The Liam M. Kinne Foundation, Inc.

The Liam M. Kinne Foundation, Inc. LMK is a 501(c)3 organization devoted to the promotion of: education; awareness; health and wellness; family assistance; and community volunteerism.

When I tell people about this foundation one of the first questions most often ask is who is Liam, and when I tell him that he's my son they then ask how did he pass. My son Liam Matthew Kinne was born on October 16th, 2014, and passed 46 days later on December 1st, 2014 due to complications stemming from absent innate reflexes due to an undiagnosed neurological disorder. Though his time was short

, the impact that he has had on me has transcended time, and has proven to me that life is truly a miracle. Another question folks often ask is how did I deal with experiencing such a great loss. And honestly, I always answer that it's something that I still deal with, and that I will always deal with. But dealing with something doesn't have to be negative. We might not always have the power to chose what we do in our lives, but we do have the power to chose what we believe. And for me, I don't believe that someone so beautiful and pure would have ever come into my life to bring me a pain that I could not recover from. Rather, he came into my life to give me a gift because he knew what I would do with that pain - harness it and use it to guide others through their own pain and teach them how to see light in the darkness of their lives. Throughout the next few weeks/months this foundation is going to undergo a period of significant change in effort to provide an avenue for anyone to utilize in effort to seek positive change, positive transformation, mindfulness and empowerment in effort to see light in the darkness of their lives... Because life is a miracle... And though strangers we may be, we are all worth it!

They say a picture speaks a thousand words… But, I believe that this one speaks so many more… There are never enough words that could ever give true tribute to the amount of love and sacrifice that all women have for their children. But, Megan’s story is one that will be spoken of through many lives to come. And it will be about the gift of life.

I’m so proud of Megan and everyone that came in support of her tonight.

Join us July 16th, 2022 at Valley View Golf Course as we team up with the CWA Local 1126 & Leatherstocking Club in support of “Feed Our Vets,” an amazing local charity which has provided free food & assistance to Veterans and their family members since 2009.

With Headquarters in New York Mills, Feed Our Vets mission is to help Veterans in the United States, their spouses and children, whose circumstances have left them on the battlefield of hunger, and to involve the public in fighting Veteran hunger, through:

2. Distribution of related goods and services
3. Public education and outreach.
