My name is Kenny Moor a lot of people know me and some don’t I have been on Shelby fire since it was first started and I have been doing fire prevention at our schools and community for over thirty years and this is my fiftieth year in the fire and rescue I also have been on southeast Shelby rescue since it was established also I started on the ambulance service with Jimmy Gill in 1975 and that being said I would love for our community and people in our community to start getting together and get involved in our fire department we have people that live here now and have places in our community that don’t even know we have a fire department and most pass three stations every day starting middle of January I would love to start having a community meetings at our station in Shelby and let’s start building our community because we are not doing anything but growing maybe we can have some community happenings through the year if you think it’s a good idea please spread the word and let’s see what we can get accomplished next year my phone number is (205)955-6596 you can text me or contact me I would love to hear your thoughts and my email is [email protected] and also if you have children that is in school or not please teach them there address because 911 will ask them if they have to call
