Come out for an afternoon of food, family, games, and some friendly competition at the saYPro Men’s Grill-Off Picnic!

Sunday, August 30, 2026

Kuckuk Park, Shawano

For the cook-off, contestants will prepare their best grilled item ahead of time and bring it ready to serve.

Cook-off participants should bring:

* Their best grilled meat, already prepared
* Enough for approximately 5 servings
* Anything needed to keep it ready for judging

The entries will be judged through a blind taste test, and prizes will be awarded to the top finishers.

Families are welcome! Even if you’re not competing, come enjoy the afternoon with food, yard games, pickleball, and time to connect with other families in the area.

We’ll also have burgers, brats, and hot dogs available for attendees.

Such a cool morning at Coffee Connections with the Shawano Country Chamber of Commerce! ☕️🏁

Today we got a look at Usairmotorsports right here in Shawano, a world-class asphalt track that people travel from all over to experience! 🏎️💨

It’s easy to forget how many unique things we have right in our own backyard, and this is definitely one of them. So cool getting to learn more about the track, connect with other local businesses, and see firsthand what makes USAIR such a special part of the Shawano community!

We also got to present a scholarship to one of our very own saYPro members, Brianna Marquardt as she continues her education and grows in her career in education! 🎓❤️ One of our favorite parts is getting to support other young professionals in our community and cheer them on as they continue to grow!

Such a great morning celebrating all the cool things happening right here in Shawano! ❤️

Thank you to Shawano Area United Way, Volunteer Fox Cities, and the Nonprofit Leadership Initiative for hosting the Volunteerism Roundtable event yesterday! Your efforts in bringing together nonprofit leaders and volunteers to discuss recruitment, engagement, and retention are invaluable.

saYPro was proud to sponsor this event, where our President, Sam, represented us and shared insights about our mission. It was a fantastic opportunity to connect with new community leaders, build relationships, and strengthen our network. We gained valuable knowledge on best practices for recruiting and retaining volunteers in Shawano County.

Together, we’re making a positive impact!
