Our SAM25 Free Eye Clinic has been moved from October 19th to Sunday, October 12th!

🕕 New Date: Sunday, October 12th
⏰ Time: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM

✨ This date change is for October only! We will return to our regular schedule in November, meeting on the third Monday of the month.

We need YOU! 💙💛

SAM25’s Emergency Shelter opens soon, and we are in BIG need of shelter volunteers for morning, intake, and overnight shifts!

Not sure what volunteering at the shelter actually looks like? We get it! That’s why we put together this quick guide so you know exactly what to expect. You’ll be helping with simple but important tasks like serving meals, welcoming guests, preparing lunches, cleaning up, and helping create a safe and supportive environment.

✨ No special skills or experience needed. Training and support are provided, and you can choose the shifts that work for your schedule.

Even volunteering one shift here and there makes a difference. It truly takes a community to keep our shelter running and our neighbors safe and warm this winter. ❤️

As we head into shelter season, we’re looking for caring community members willing to share a little of their time. Whether you can help once, once a month, or regularly, we’d love to have you!

🏠 Volunteer for a shelter shift
🍽️ Prepare an evening meal or drop off freezer meals
👕 Help in SAM’s Closet Thrift Store
🩺 Volunteer with our Free Health & Optometry Clinics
🔨 Lend a hand with building or seasonal maintenance

📅 **October 1–15**

Shelter season begins **October 15**, and we have just TWO WEEKS to get our shelves stocked and ready to welcome our guests!

Every shelter season, SAM25 provides a safe, warm place to sleep along with meals, showers, laundry, basic necessities, and support for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in our community. It takes A LOT of everyday supplies to make that happen — and this is where our amazing community comes in! ❤️

🛒 **Amazon Prime Days are October 6–7!**
If you're shopping the sales, consider adding an item or two from our Amazon Wish List to your cart. It's a great opportunity to snag some savings AND make a difference right here in our community!

Prefer to shop in person? **Sam's Club and Costco are fantastic options for purchasing many of these items in bulk**, and donations purchased locally are always welcome, too!
