Who will you rally?

The Community Full Fridge Relay was designed for groups to participate together.

Whether it’s your coworkers, family, faith community, sports team, neighbors, or a group of friends, adopting the Community Free Fridge at Second Harvest for a week is a simple way to turn shared values into visible action.

A meaningful summer activity for families. Team-building with purpose. A chance for faith communities, clubs, and neighborhood groups to make an impact together.

During your adopted week, your group commits to stopping by at least once to help clean, stock, and care for the Community Free Fridge before passing the baton to the next team.

One group. One week. One less empty fridge.

Happy National Cheese Day!

We put together a little board with a few things you’ll find around the market right now. Starting with cheeses, olives, petite pickles, breadsticks & banana peppers. Some local honey, fresh and dried fruit, almonds from , pita chips from , and a spoonful of lemon curd for something sweet.

If you’re putting together a snack board, heading to a gathering, or just looking for something good to nibble on, we’ve got plenty of ingredients to mix and match.

Before Harvest on Main opened its doors, before the capital campaign, and before many of the milestones we celebrate today, Jill Chiu was quietly building the foundation beneath them.

Much of that work happens behind the scenes — creating the systems, processes, and high standards that allow Second Harvest to serve our community with consistency, care, and excellence every day.

First as a volunteer and now as Harvest on Main’s Director of Operations, Jill has spent the past five years building the foundation that allows Second Harvest to keep showing up for this community — today and for years to come.

If you missed it, take a minute to read Jill’s story in our 2025 Annual Report at the link in our bio 💛

The Community Free Fridge at Second Harvest doesn’t run on its own — it runs on neighbors.

That’s why we’re launching The Community Full Fridge Relay: a community-wide effort to keep the Community Free Fridge at Second Harvest stocked, cared for, and full through the end of 2026 and beyond.

Here’s how it works:
Adopt the fridge for one week with your team, family, faith community, neighborhood, or friend group. During your week, stop by at least once to help clean and stock the fridge — then pass the baton to the next group.

One Group. One Week. One Less Empty Fridge.

31 weeks are available to claim starting this week.

Join the relay at the link in our bio.

At Second Harvest, we keep the racks stocked with pieces for all kinds of days, seasons & styles. Right now, we’ve got some great skirts out on the floor — easy to dress up, wear casually, or throw on for a day out with friends. Whether you’re heading to the court, running around town, or just looking for something that feels like you, there’s always something worth finding here.
