⚾ Sharpsburg Baseball & Softball Association is being inducted into the Sharpsburg Sports Hall of Fame
Since 1952, baseball and softball have been a cornerstone of the Sharpsburg community. What began as a small-town Little League has grown into a lasting tradition built on teamwork, dedication, and community pride.
That first spring, local families came together to celebrate opening day with a parade through town — a joyful reminder that America’s was alive and thriving in Sharpsburg. From t-ball to fast pitch, the Sharpsburg Baseball & Softball Association continues to teach sportsmanship, discipline, and love for the game to new generations of athletes.
This photo captures that spirit perfectly — young players marching proudly down Main Street, carrying on the legacy started over seventy years ago by volunteers, coaches, and families who believed in the power of community through sports.
