It's Fund Fact Friday!
This week we are featuring the impact of donor-advised funds at the Foundation.
Donors with donor-advised funds recommended $90,915 in grants to nonprofits and charitable organizations in 2025. Donor-advised funds are a great way for donors to support a variety of organizations of their choosing.

The Columbus City Band will present the Brownstown Patriotic Program at 2 p.m. June 28, at Heritage Park in Brownstown.
The program will include a variety of patriotic songs ahead of the Fourth of July. This year's will be particularly enjoyable given the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence.
The program is free thanks to the Dick Parman Brownstown Fund for the Arts, a designated fund that pays an annual grant to cover the cost of the concert.

Information about both of the Foundation's adult learner scholarships is available online at cfjacksoncounty.org. Completed applications are due at the Foundation office no later than June 26. The direct link to the scholarship forms is https://cfjacksoncounty.org/scholarship-forms/

Foundation President & CEO Dan Davis and Donor Relations Manager Jordan Richart attended the Owen-Carr Township Community Fund Committee meeting in Medora last night.
The committee meets quarterly to review applications, hear from applicants, discuss proposals and award grants to organizations doing work in Carr and Owen townships. The fund receives gifts from Rumpke of Indiana, which operates a landfill near Medora.
The fund has supported education needs, public safety, basic human needs, quality of life initiatives and historic preservation.

This week's Fund Fact Friday features the Freeman Army Airfield Museum Endowment.
This fund was established by Museum Curator Larry Bothe and supports the museum that preserves the history of Freeman Army Airfield, which operated during World War II.
The museum is hosting the annual Airplane Ride Day on June 20. You can find event information here:
