The Spencer Clack Chapter, NSDAR welcomes any woman 18 years or older, regardless of race, religion or ethnic background, who can prove lineal descent from a patriot of the American Revolution to join. More than 1,000,000 women have joined the organization since it was founded over 125 years ago. They became members to honor their heritage as well as make a difference in their communities across t

Tonight 1 of the 8 Spencer Clack DARlings attended the DAR Philanthropy dinner- Tempe, while the other 7 dined at a local eatery- P.J. Clarke’s. All was good and tasty and the company great!

Tennessee DAR State Regent Carol Teeters and Corresponding Secretary General Cecile Wimberley placed a ceremonial wreath at the tomb of George Washington at Mt. Vernon today. Tennessee Daughters toured the home and grounds of Mt. Vernon. Spencer Clack members Christine, Lora, Ziggy, Judy, and Tracie participated in today’s event.

Veterans and their guests of all ages are invited to enjoy hot breakfast at Wears Valley Methodist Church on Saturday 27 June 2026 compliments of LEAFGUARD. Volunteers with the church and Spencer Clack Chapter, NSDAR Sevierville, TN will be serving Wampler's Farm Sausage, scrambled eggs and biscuits & gravy prepared by the friendly folks at Elvira's Cafe just down the road from the church.

Coffee and conversation at 8:00 AM. ETMAC - East Tennessee Military Affairs Council provides the coffee - you will have to handle the conversation. Chow line opens at 8:30 AM. Join us to learn about clean gutters and NO LADDERS!

Nor rain, nor delay will stop the DAR from seeing their first Nationals game. We waited out the rain, by enjoying each others company over great food at the Hamilton. Section 109 was where it was at!

Thanks to Mary Vann for arranging our TSDAR tickets. And it was nice meeting (& seeing) other daughters from other states including California, Texas, & Hawaii enjoying the game as a group.

We’ve got a group of 8 DARlings in DC for Continental Congress, the DAR National Conference. Tracie & Ziggy went on a Capitol tour and Chris, Lora, Lola, Judy, Sheryl, & Tempe visited Monticello.

Here’s one set of pictures from the Capitol tour. We arranged the visit through Representative Diana Harshbarger’s office and Parker Huskey, an intern UT Political Science Major from Sevier County was our guide.
