Dolly Parton's Imagination Library Imagination Library is a free book gifting program that mails high-quality, age-appropriate books to children from birth until age five.

In 1995, Dolly Parton launched an exciting new effort to benefit the children of her home county in east Tennessee. Dolly wanted to foster a love of reading among her county’s preschool children and their families by giving each child one free, age-appropriate book per month from birth to age 5. The program has seen phenomenal success, now gifting over 3 million free books each month, with over 24
