Congressman Norman has been a fearless conservative fighter for South Carolina, and I am grateful for his endorsement. Together, we will continue building momentum as we work to ensure South Carolina has an Attorney General who will uphold the law, protect our communities, and defend our freedoms.

“David Stumbo is a proven conservative prosecutor who understands that public safety and the rule of law are not negotiable,” said Congressman Ralph Norman. “South Carolina needs an Attorney General who will prosecute criminals, defend our constitutional rights, and stand up to federal overreach. David has the experience, integrity, and conservative convictions to get the job done, and I’m proud to endorse him.”

Yesterday, I was informed that the two candidates in the Republican gubernatorial runoff are interested in returning to Pendleton for a forum.

I believe it is important for voters to be informed, and I believe our community should have access to the individuals who may ultimately represent them.

Given the summer heat, we needed an indoor venue that could comfortably accommodate attendees. I’m grateful to the community members who quickly came together to help make this opportunity possible.

As Mayor, my responsibility is to do what is best for Pendleton. I’m proud that our town has become part of the conversation in South Carolina and a place where important discussions can take place.

I hope to see you Friday, and I encourage you to come with questions. This is your opportunity to hear directly from the candidates and engage in the issues that matter most to you and your family.

After the runoff, I look forward to continuing this effort by hosting candidates from all parties who will appear on the general election ballot in November. My goal is simple: to give Pendleton residents opportunities to hear from those seeking to represent them so they can make informed decisions at the ballot box.

For Pendleton, always. 💚

*Hosting candidates does not constitute an endorsement. These events are about voter education, civic engagement, and ensuring our community has access to candidates from all parties and perspectives.

This race will be decided by who shows up. Let’s finish what we started, secure this victory, and Keep South Carolina Great!
