A huge thank you to everyone who came out for Divan Night and helped make tonight a great one!

A special thank you to Illustrious Sir Jamie Smith and the Divan for joining us and making the evening special.

We also want to recognize everyone who pitched in behind the scenes — those who prepared the meal, donated and worked the tricky trays, sold raffle tickets, and stayed to help clean up. It takes a bunch of Nobles working together to make nights like this happen, and we appreciate every one of you.

Congratulations to all of the new Nobles who entered the Hejaz Shrine tonight! We are proud to have you with us and look forward to seeing you get involved.

And congratulations to all the Nobles who earned their Crown of Honor bars tonight. Well deserved!

Nobles, be sure to welcome our newest members to the Shrine family. Introduce yourself, shake their hand, and help them find their place. We were all new once!

Don't forget this coming Tuesday, October 6th is our Divan & Ladies night. Bring a tricky tray if you can because all the money raised from the ticket sales goes towrds the kids Christmas party. We will also be welcoming several new Nobles that night since there is not a fall ceremony this year.

The meal will be Spaghetti & Salad with bread and all the extra trimmings. The ladies are preparing the deserts.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the club. Be there around 6 or earlier if you want and we will eat around 6:30 or so.

Friendly Reminder, Nobles!

The Ladies Auxiliary will meet at the Club Saturday, September 26th at 9:00 AM to decorate for Divan Night on October 6th.

Not only will we be welcoming the Divan but we will also be swearing in new Nobles, so please be sure to give them a warm Shrine welcome!

And don’t forget to bring your Tricky Trays for the raffle. These baskets are always a highlight of the afternoon!

Let’s get the Club looking sharp and show our new Nobles what Hejaz hospitality is all about!

THAT’S A WRAP ON THE OCONEE HILLBILLY GOLF TOURNAMENT!

A HUGE THANK YOU to every golfer who came out and participated! We appreciate you spending the day with us, putting up with our brand of hillbilly golf, and helping make this tournament a success. We hope y’all had as much fun as we did!

CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR WINNERS!
You brought your A-game and earned the bragging rights. Well played!

A special THANK YOU to all of our generous donors and sponsors. Your support makes events like this possible and helps us continue the work of the Shrine. We truly appreciate every business and individual who donated.

And we couldn’t leave out our Blue Ridge Shrine Club members and Ladies Auxiliary Members who worked behind the scenes, pulled pork, set up, cleaned up, kept things moving, and did whatever needed doing. It takes a bunch of Nobles and Ladies to pull off a day like this, and y’all came through!

Finally, a big THANK YOU to Oconee Country Club for hosting us and helping make the tournament such a great event. We appreciate your hospitality and support!

From all of us at the Blue Ridge Shrine Club — THANK YOU!

And remember…

Hillbilly golfers don’t hit their balls into the woods.
Those balls went home.
Those balls were born there. 😂🌲🏌️‍♂️

Tomorrow is the big day! We will be gathering at Oconee Country Club at 9:00 AM for the Oconee Hillbilly Golf Tournament.

We also need a few hands today at 3:00 PM at the club to help pull the pork and get everything ready for tomorrow. If you can spare some time, come on out and lend a hand. The more help we have, the easier the work will be!

Thank you to everyone who has helped make this tournament possible. Looking forward to a great day tomorrow!

A FEW REMINDERS FOR THE NOBLES:

🔹 September 26th at 9:00 AM: The Ladies Auxiliary will be at the club decorating for our October meeting.

🔹 October 6th — Divan Night: October’s meeting will be Divan Night. Please remember to bring a tricky tray to be raffled off that evening.

For anyone unfamiliar with a tricky tray, think of it as a basket filled with goodies — similar to an Easter basket. It can be built around any theme you like: snacks, grilling, hunting, coffee, car care, sports, etc. Get creative with it!

Let’s make Divan Night a good one and show our appreciation for everyone who helps keep the club moving forward.

All the winners have been contacted. Thank you again to all the ones that supported us either by buying tickets or donating items for us to sell tickets on. We could not do this without the support you have given. We look forward to doing it again next year and hope to see everyone then.
