Our hero has been busy this week. We helped usher in the new PTA year for the Treasure Coast Elementary PTA at their first meeting. We had a swashbuckling good time!

Hank then ran (as a toned down Cappy), this morning, in the Tunnels To Towers 5k.

Thanks Vero's Voice, for having us on today!

Today on the Vero’s Voice Podcast, we meet a remarkable young man who is proving that you don’t have to wait until you’re older to make a difference. Hank, a high school student, cosplayer, and founder of Hank's Heroes, joins us to share the story behind his nonprofit and his mission to bring hope, encouragement, and a little joy to people facing disabilities, life-threatening illnesses, and major life changes.

Hank’s Heroes was born from a simple desire to uplift others, but has grown into a movement built around compassion, community, and celebrating every person’s story. We’ll talk with Hank about what inspired him to start the organization, how his love of cosplay became part of his mission, and what he has learned about making a difference in the lives of others.

It’s a conversation about courage, compassion, and the power of one person—regardless of age—to become a hero in their community. Because sometimes being a hero isn’t about having superpowers. It’s about showing up for someone who needs a little hope.

We are excited for a new school year! At Hank’s Heroes, we know many heroes are going back to school this week. Whether you’re a seasoned hero or leading the heroes-in-training, you are amazing and have nothing but possibilities in front of you!!

Our fearless leader joins the ranks as well with his second year of high school.

Ahoy, mateys! 🏴‍☠️ Captain Hank had a wonderful time visiting the amazing students, families, and staff at Treasure Coast Elementary School. Thank you for making us feel so welcome! Thanks to the Treasure Coast Elementary PTA for letting us be a part of the evening!

We hope each of you has a school year full of learning, laughter, kindness, and adventure. One of the sweetest moments of the day was Hank getting to see his pre-K teacher again. It's always special to reconnect with the people who help shape our journeys.
