Nordic Innovation Summit 2026 | Arctic 360

Connecting people, sharing ideas, and strengthening Nordic-American collaboration.

Hosted by the in Seattle, the annual Nordic Innovation Summit (NIS) 2026: Arctic 360 brought together professionals, policymakers, researchers, community leaders, and Arctic experts from the United States and the Nordic countries.

With a focus on research, policy, community, and implementation, the summit explored the challenges and opportunities shaping our shared future through engaging discussions and interactive sessions.

🇫🇮 A significant milestone in Finland–Washington State relations was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), reinforcing the commitment to deepen collaboration and strengthen ties between Finland and Washington State.

From Eurovision to the international stage, Finnish artist Käärijä is bringing his high-energy sound to audiences around the world with his Eurodisko World Tour 2026–2027!

The Finnish sensation behind “Cha Cha Cha” is heading to the U.S. in March 2027, with stops in New York, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, and Los Angeles.

A night for Seattle’s Nordic community! 🇳🇴🇩🇰🇫🇮🇮🇸🇸🇪

The Fall 2026 Nordic Mixer brings together the Danish, Finnish, Icelandic, Norwegian, and Swedish communities for an evening of food, drinks, music, and conversation.

Hosted by the Northwest Danish Association at the Swedish Club, the evening will wrap up with Berserkaraoke, so stay a little longer and sing along in whatever language you like!

Finnish Passport & ID Renewal: Seattle, WA National Nordic Museum

The Consulate General of Finland in Los Angeles will bring the portable passport and identity card device to Seattle, WA on December 2–3, 2026.

Finnish citizens can apply for or renew a passport or identity card in person. An appointment is required.

Select “United States” as the country of submission and “Mobile passport device - US west coast” as the location. The address will be provided in your confirmation email — check your junk/spam folder.

Once appointments are full, no additional times will be added, but you can check the system for cancellations.

Please make sure your information in the Finnish Population Information System is accurate and up to date before applying. Information can be checked with the Digital and Population Data Services Agency once a year free of charge.

The Consulate General reserves the right to cancel or postpone the trip.
