ਪਿਛਲੇ ਦਿਨੀਂ ਏਕਮ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਸੁਖਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੱਧੂ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਸਰਕਾਰੀ ਸੈਕੰਡਰੀ ਸਕੂਲ ਹਮੀਰਗੜ੍ਹ ਵਿੱਖੇ ਏਕਮ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਵਲੋਂ 35 ਹਜ਼ਾਰ ਰੁਪਏ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਦੀ ਲਾਗਤ ਨਾਲ ਸਕੂਲ ਦੇ ਲੋੜਵੰਦ ਬੱਚਿਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਬੂਟ, ਟਾਈਆਂ, ਬੈਲਟਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਨਾਖਤੀ ਕਾਰਡ ਵੰਡੇ| ਏਕਮ ਅਵੇਰਨਸ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਸਿਆਟਲ ਹਲਕੇ ਵਿਚ 2012 ਤੋਂ ਸੇਵਾ ਨਿਭਾ ਰਿਹਾ ਹੈ| ਗਰੁੱਪ ਵਲੋਂ ਸਿਹਤ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਕੈੰਪ, ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕੇ ਸ਼ੂਗਰ ਬਿਮਾਰੀ ਬਾਰੇ, ਦੰਦਾਂ ਦੀ ਕੇਅਰ, ਬੋਨ ਮੈਰੋ ਡੋਨੇਸ਼ਨ ਕੈੰਪ ਆਦਿ ਲਗਾਏ ਜਾਂਦੇ ਹਨ|

Ekam Awareness group members Sukhwinder Sidhu and his family recently visited Punjab, and donated much needed items to school children at Government Secondary School Hamirgarh on behalf of Ekam awareness group. Ekam Awareness Group has been serving the Seattle area people since 2014. The group runs health information camps such as Diabetes care, Dental Care, and Bone Marrow Donation Camps.

ਪਿਛਲੇ ਦਿਨੀ ਖੋਟੇ ਪਿੰਡ ਜਿਲਾ ਮੋਗੇ ਦੇ ਕਿਸਾਨ ਮੇਵਾ ਸਿੰਘ ਜੀ ਦੀ ਕਿਸਾਨੀ ਸੰਗਰਸ਼ ਵਿਚ ਮੌਤ ਹੋ ਗਈ ਸੀ | ਏਕਮ ਗਰੁੱਪ ਵਲੋਂ 50000 Rupees ਦੀ ਰਾਸ਼ੀ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਦਦ ਲਈ ਭੇਜੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨਾਲ ਦੁੱਖ ਸਾਂਝਾ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ |

We have created this group to help raise awareness about issues, causes in minority communites. Group members have been working for these causes for almost 10 years now. We have held Several Bone marrow registery drives in Washington and Oregon in Temples, Gurudwara and community events. We have also held health camps to raise awareness about diabetes, and basic health in seniors. Most of group members are either in Health care and care deeply about raising awareness about these issues in migrant communities.
