As we prepare for this year's From Hiroshima to Hope event on August 6, we are sad to announce we do so without our longtime friend and planning member since the '80s, Fred Miller. We continue on with Fred in our hearts. Memorial this evening, 6/29. More info:

Our beloved board member Fred Miller passed away on 4/25/2025.
Tonight, 6/29, 6PM at Center for Wooden Boats, there is a community memorial to celebrate Fred’s life -- a life full of community and activism. All are welcome. It will a potluck-style memorial with music, speeches, and an optional seed-swap (for the avid gardeners). If you would like to give a short 2-3minute speech, everyone is encouraged to join the queue.
In honor and in friendship of Fred,
Momo Nikaido
