Registration is still open for summer kapamilya!
We still have tons of space for kids to join the Filipino Community of Seattle's 5th Annual Summer Youth Program! Just scan the QR code or go to https://www.filcommsea.org/youth-development and scroll down to the Summer Youth Program, click "Register Today," scroll down again, and you will see the "Summer Field Trip Registration" link and the section where you will fill out your youth's info just under it.
At the "Summer Field Trip Registration" link, you will see which field trips you would like to sign up your youth for. Note that some of these might be subject to change due to schedule shifts. In addition, please remember that our bus has limited capacity, so we cycle through groups of youth when deciding which kids go on what field trips. If your child goes on one field trip, it is not guaranteed that they will go on the next one, since another child may go instead. We are also giving the option for parents to drive their own youth to destinations if chaperone capacity allows.
In addition, we are test-running a preorder option for lunches! While we still recommend your youth to bring their own lunches, we will have various meals ready as an option for them each week. Just click on a given week on the registration page and fill out the necessary information.
Summer programming will start on Monday, June 29, 2026, and will last until Thursday, August 20, 2026. The Batibot Youth Program will be comprised of students in kindergarten through 6th grade, and students in the Bagets Youth Program may be in 6th-12th grade. Batibots will be here from 10am-1pm, while the Bagets will have their programming from 12-3pm. If your youth is in 6th grade, we have flexibility on which program you would like for them to attend since they may not feel ready to be in the high school age groups yet.
If you are not a parent or guardian, please feel free to share this info to your family, friends, or community!
