With the warmer temperatures and changing air quality forecast over the next few days, we wanted to share how we are caring for campers and the steps we take to keep everyone safe.

We are closely monitoring the weather and local Air Quality Index (AQI) throughout the day and adjusting our programming as needed in accordance with our Smoke Policy.

Currently, we are encouraging frequent water breaks throughout the day. Campers have access to misting stations and staff are monitoring campers closely and modifying activities to help everyone stay comfortable.

For air quality:
Today's air quality is in the Yellow (Moderate) range, and tomorrow is currently forecast to reach Orange (Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups).

At the Orange level, we reduce strenuous activities such as running and hiking and adjust programming to limit heavy exertion.

If air quality worsens, we will continue to follow our Smoke Policy:

Orange (AQI 101–150): Reduce strenuous activities.
Red (AQI 151–200): No high-impact activities; programs without suitable indoor space may be modified or cancelled.
Purple (AQI 201–300): Programs are cancelled unless participants can remain indoors with air filtration.
Maroon (AQI 301+): All programs are cancelled.

The health and safety of our campers and staff remains our highest priority. We will continue to monitor conditions closely and communicate with families if any significant program changes become necessary.
