This past summer, TIPS provided 75 high school interns with meaningful work experiences at 60 nonprofit partner sites. Collectively, these incredible young leaders supported their nonprofits with over 11,000 hours of community-centered work. At our Luncheon, we will reflect on the growth of this amazing organization and look towards how we will expand our impact throughout the greater Puget Sound. To our young (and older 🤗) alumni in Washington - here is some great info on voter registration!

Visit sos.wa.gov with your driver's license/state ID in-hand, it takes about 5 minutes max.

16- and 17-year-olds can also PRE-register, or at least go online and see if you’re already pre-registered (you can check a box when you get your driver's license to pre-register, so you may already be all set!

The Secretary of State is the state's chief elections officer, chief corporations officer, and supervisor of the State Archives and State Library.

Save the date - ONE WEEK!

Event Time: Thursday, May 21st @ 6pm-7pm

Come join your fellow TIPS program alumni on zoom to catch up about everyone's last couple of months and get a summer program update! Things are going to look a little different with internships going virtual this summer, so we’d love to let you know how you can track and stay involved. We are looking forward to relaunching in person trivia and happy hour events once normal life resumes, but this is a great opportunity to hear from your friends and kick back for an hour on your Thursday.

We’ll be inviting some recent alums of the program, so this is an open opportunity to get updated on how things have grown! Come ready with a quarantine activity you’ve picked up and a drink of your choice- we’ll have a wheel of quarantine themed questions to get everybody involved. Looking forward to seeing your faces!

THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who came out to our Quiz for a Cause trivia fundraiser this week. Because of your support, we made over $500 to support an intern in the summer of 2020. 😃👏

Shout-out to LTD BAR AND GRILL in Fremont for being such a great host, with delicious food and drink, and Geeks Who Drink - Seattle for the wonderful opportunity. Our trivia master, Sean McNeil, made the evening so fun. We're so grateful for you all.
