Mark your calendars for this summer’s Peace N The Hood basketball tournament and job fair

🗓️ Wednesday, June 3rd
🕒 Job Fair: 3 pm - 5 pm
🏀 Basketball: 4 pm - 6 pm
📍 Steve Cox Memorial Park

There’ll be food, prizes, free merch, ice cream, a live DJ, community resources, and good energy all around.

Come sign up for the tourney or just come out and show support and love to the community. Everybody is welcome.

👉 Young Writers Workshop sign-ups are officially open for aspiring writers ages 16 to 21!

And for the first time in years, students who complete the workshop can receive up to $400 in stipends.

By the end of the program, you can walk away as:

✍️ A published and paid author
💪 A stronger and more confident writer

And gain communication skills and confidence that carry far beyond the page.

This is her routine after school. One that she has done for years with her friends and neighbors...
