What a day! Boys & Girls Clubs of King County’s annual Field Day brought together more than 500 kids, teens, and volunteers from across King County for an afternoon full of sports, games, teamwork, and connection at Seattle University Field.

Club kids had the chance to try new activities, meet peers from other Clubs, build confidence, and experience the joy of being part of something bigger. With football, soccer, rugby, and so many hands-on activities, Field Day was a wonderful reminder of the power of community and play.

Thank you to Q-13 for covering the event and helping us share this special day with the broader community. We are also grateful to the partners and volunteers who helped make Field Day possible, including the Seattle Seahawks, Seattle Kraken, Seattle Seawolves, Torrent, Brooks Running, First Tee, Taco Bell, Laz Foundation, Absolute Blast Softball, Ballard/Salmon Bay FC, Soccer Fun Camp, WA Schoolgirls Lacrosse Assoc., Brooks Powers Group, and Seattle University.

For more than 20 years, Field Day has brought our region together around youth, wellness, and belonging. We are so thankful for everyone who helped create another unforgettable day for our Club kids.

Boys & Girls Club of King County hosted over 600 kids for their annual field day.

From designing and building structures while exploring future careers, to coding new games and experimenting with materials, King County youth are discovering STEM through hands-on, collaborative learning.

Together, they build, test, problem-solve, and bring new ideas to life—all while developing the teamwork and critical thinking skills that will serve them far beyond the classroom.

Making these opportunities possible is the incredible support of , whose funding helps our Clubs do more and create even greater impact for the young people we serve.

🌎⚽ From Southwest Club to the World Cup.
Meet Azarianah, one of six Boys & Girls Clubs of King County youth selected to serve as a flag bearer during the July 1 World Cup match in Seattle.

Azarianah has been coming to the Club since first grade and says one of the things she loves most is the sense of community.

“I like how the Club is diverse and how the Club has a lot of programs… it’s very connected and has a big community.”

For Azarianah, being selected as a flag bearer is about more than one day.

“It’s a once-in-a-lifetime experience.”

We’re so proud of Azarianah and the bright future ahead of her. 💙

Because of supporters like you, kids discover opportunities, friendships, and experiences that help shape who they become.
