e form a group called FIGHT Formerly Incarcerated Healing Together. We have ponder the idea for many years and has finally able to find the pieces to fit. Thanks to the staff at DOC Tanja M. Cain, Cathleen G. Walde, Gail G. 'PEN' Peet and APICAG Asian Pacific Islander Culture Awareness Group, we were able to make that support network connection with the API prisoners at Clallam Bay Correctional Center. This in thanks to Village of Hope and BPC Black Prisoner Caucus in connecting us with the men inside. We are very grateful. It will enabled us to work with the men, change their lives for the better, and for-fill the goals that are set. As they are working on youth videos, self help programs, culture identity awareness, we as FIGHT will support the men in ways that are possible for them to easier transition back into society. We will act as a support group when they are released into the community by helping them get through it, like what they've done for us ourselves was inside at one time....
