This Saturday 6/22 holes 6-23 will be closed to casual play from 8:30am-5pm for a tournament hosted by Emerald City Discs

Holes 1-5 & 24-27 will still be open to casual play at this time.

Just a heads up for anyone playing Seatac today.

There is a large branch down that is blocking the fairway on hole 1.

If anyone is available to remove the branch before 6pm today please let Chuck Mintz know ASAP. Otherwise Chuck will be dealing with it around that time.

Rich has been informed as well.

Early Registration for SeaTac Open 2024 is now open for SeaTac Disc Golf Association members!

Early registration limited to 36 spots. General registration will open up next Monday!

SeaTac Open 2024 is a PDGA-sanctioned disc golf tournament in Seatac, Washington beginning August 10, 2024 and hosted by SeaTac Disc Golf Association.

All 27 holes now have whiskers marking C1! Each different position will have either orange, pink, or yellow whiskers.

Big thanks to Christian Blakely for heading this project up and Wayne Fuller for for helping today as well as everyone that helped last week to get 6-23 done.

The next tournament coming up at SeaTac is the Yin Yang World Tour with TD Hueston Kratz on June 8th!

This is a fun C-Tier event where the course is played in reverse (with temp baskets near the normal tees) for the first round. Last year's event at SeaTac was a lot of fun.

The SeaTac Disc Golf Association board (Chuck Mintz, Christian Wolff, Danielle Keen, Kenny Clark) met with Rich Riser (the new course manager) last night. We were able to come to an agreement to work together!

SDGA will be handling things such as event scheduling and organizing work parties.

Once we figure out a schedule we'll probably try to do fairly regular small work parties to work on getting the course into shape. Spring is here and the grass is gonna get tall pretty quick.

For club membership and additional perks now that we're no longer dealing with a lot of uncertainty about our role we'll be able to start moving forward with plans and ideas.

Our current plan is to hold actual board elections at the start of 2025.

For now being a club member will get you early access to sign up for SeaTac Open in August as well as a code for $5 off of PDGA membership fees.

18 long saw some carnage since the basket had been in the original position. We cleared it up today and it's ready for SeaTac Takeoff amateur weekend in a little over a week!
