We would like to give a huge Thank You to TCC, Verizon Authorized Retailer family. You guys have always been great supporters of our rescue and we are beyond grateful. Two of Amys Baxter Royal kitties went to their new home together. Allia who is our Tcc Rockstar even set up a tribute to Amy to insure she was part of the Rescues Rock event. Although it made us cry it was so thoughtful for you to do this. It was a great weekend with 2 dogs also being adopted. Thanks again for all you do for Rescues

Would you look at that, Soldier got a new Dad. I think this boy is going to be spoiled rotten. Soldier is your typical boxer, playful and goofy. He now has a boxer sibling and I'm sure they will be doing zoomies galore in the yard. Happy Tails Soldier!

Some stories find their way back to where they belong. ❤️

After Amy’s passing, Nash and Harrold were separated while navigating a world that suddenly looked very different. Today, these two boys got the ending she would have loved— adopted together.

Nash and Harrold are also the last two adoptable boys remaining in foster from Amy’s cats, which makes this moment feel even more special and bittersweet. Through all the change, they still carried a piece of home in each other, and now they’ll never have to lose that again.

We’d like to think Amy had a hand in this one. 🌈🐾

Happy forever, boys. You were always meant to find your way back together.

I know Amy would be beyond happy to see this! Khaki went to his new home today. This boy held a special place in Amy's heart as well as anyone who met him including me. His new mom had adopted Khakis sister years ago. You can see her peeking in to get a look at him. Khaki we wish you a life of happiness. Thank you to his new mom for giving him a safe place to land. You dont know how happy this makes me. 💓

Two more pups searching for their forever homes. Angelina is an apricot poodle female and Alessandra is a female bichon pup. These girls are both sweet and just dreaming of their new families. You can meet them this Sunday May 17th at TCC, Verizon Authorized Retailer in Georgetown de from 1-3 at the Rescues Rock event. Opie is approximately 7 years old and one of Amy’s personal cats. As a kitten, Opie had a condition called entropion, where his eyelids rolled inward and the hair constantly rubbed against his eyes, causing chronic irritation. Surgery was done to correct this, but cats with this condition often have lasting changes to the appearance of their eyes.

Opie has raised third eyelids on both eyes that partially cover his eyeballs, and this is considered his normal appearance. It is not painful unless the tissues become irritated or infected. He still has vision, navigates well, and interacts normally with people and other cats.

After Amy’s passing, Opie was placed with the rescue’s foster and has remained in a loving home. This is an extremely difficult decision, but we truly want what is best for him. We feel Opie is not thriving in a multi-cat environment and would be happiest as an only cat where he can be the center of attention.

He is an incredibly affectionate cat who knows his name and comes running when called. He greets people at the door and absolutely loves his people.

Opie deserves a calm home where he can finally soak up all the love and attention he’s been waiting for.
