FYI,
I was told today that at Job Lots they are selling coats for Veterans in need for $45. She picked out a coat that had a sales tag on it for $250. She paid $45 and they gave her a $45 gift card. I'm going tomorrow to purchase a coat. Ellen

It is with a heavy heart that I share the sad news that one of our dedicated American Legion Auxiliary Unit 6 members, Lynn Kelley, passed away this week.

Lynn was a valued member of our Auxiliary family, and her passing leaves a sadness in our hearts that words cannot fully express. Losing someone who has been part of our family and shared in our mission is never easy. We are reminded of how precious life is and how much the people we share our time with truly mean to us.

As we mourn this loss, I ask that you please keep Lynn’s family, our Auxiliary family, and those closest to her in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. May they find comfort in the love and support surrounding them, strength in the days ahead, and peace in the memories they will forever hold dear.

Lynn, you will be missed, and you will always hold a special place in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing you.

Rest peacefully, Lynn Kelley. You will not be forgotten.

With heartfelt sympathy,

Michelle Adkins
President, American Legion Auxiliary Unit 6

I want to take a moment to thank all of our Auxiliary members who helped make our meal a success last night. To everyone who prepared the food, took orders, served our guests, and cleaned up the kitchen afterwards, thank you for giving your time and effort to support our unit.

We also want to thank everyone who purchased a dinner and supported our efforts. Your support means so much to us and helps us continue the work we do.

Your dedication and hard work do not go unnoticed, and I truly appreciate each and every one of you. As President, it means a lot to me to see our members coming together, helping one another, and working as a team.

This is what being part of our Auxiliary is all about. I am thankful to see our unit pulling together, and I am proud of what we can accomplish when we work together.

Thank you all for everything you do for our unit and for supporting our mission!

With gratitude,

Michelle Adkins
President, ALA Unit 6
