Marcus Freeman said that Notre Dame will have to “Leave No Doubts” on the football field next year. In 1842, Fr. Sorin declared Notre Dame would become "one of the most powerful means for doing good in this country."

Introducing **Leave No Doubts** — a year-long initiative challenging Notre Dame fans to complete weekly "Fighting for Good" goals. Each week from now through January 2027, we'll take on challenges that serve others, strengthen our communities, and channel our energy toward victory.

Week 0 starts NOW. Your first challenge: Tell 3 people about this initiative.

Did you know: St. Mary’s Lake and St. Joseph’s Lake are natural glacial lakes, left behind by the last Ice Age—long before Notre Dame was founded? In the early days of the University, the lakes were the University’s primary source of drinking water, but the water was contaminated from waste water and agricultural activities, which led to a cholera outbreak that killed more than 20 Holy Cross brothers between 1847 and 1855, threatening the University’s existence in its first decade. Today, the lakes are free from pollution and serve as a source of beauty and recreation on Notre Dame’s campus.

Dear Alumni and Friends of Notre Dame:

It’s Christmas time and our Notre Dame Club is busy with our yearly Holiday outreach. Please help if you can. There is so much need this year as always. We truly appreciate your generosity.

• This year we will again assist Meals on Wheels and St. Joseph’s Center with donations of cash and gifts.

• We will assist Friends of the Poor & Catherine McCauley Center with gift cards for food and gifts for older students and families. We hope to assist 25 families this year

• We will also help several students and families from local schools (Lackawanna Trail) with gift cards for food and donate gifts and toys.

If you know of anyone needing a gift card or any item, please call Joyce (570-407-1124) and we will deliver it to them. Maybe a friend or neighbor who fell on tough times?

What do we need:
Cash assistance is our greatest need to buy gift and gifts.
Please send checks payable to the Notre Dame Club of Scranton.
Send checks to Dan McDonough, 1201 Froude Street, Scranton PA 18505
