With profound sorrow and heavy hearts, we express our deepest condolences on the passing of Mrs. Bir Maya Rai, a beloved mother, grandmother, and respected elder whose gentle spirit touched every life she encountered.
Mrs. Rai passed away peacefully at the age of 89, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Daleni, Chirang, Bhutan in 1937, she was the cherished wife of the late Mr. Jas Bahadur Rai. In her later years, she made her home in Scranton, PA, where her warmth, kindness, and wisdom became a guiding light for all who knew her.
As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate a life well-lived — a life that inspired love, unity, and respect. We stand together in grief, offering prayers and strength to her family. May her soul find eternal peace, and may her memory continue to bless and guide us all.
