🚨 VOLUNTEERS & INTERNS NEEDED 🚨
As baby season continues to explode, we are still in desperate need of evening volunteers and weekend volunteers to help us care for the hundreds of wild patients currently depending on us.
If you have ever wanted to make a direct difference in the lives of injured, orphaned, and abandoned wildlife, now is the time🙏🏼. Every cage cleaned, every meal prepared, every enclosure maintained, and every load of laundry completed helps save lives❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹❤️‍🩹.
Interested in volunteering? Stop by any day between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM and speak with a manager about joining our team😊
We are also looking to add up to five additional interns to our program. Internships require a commitment of 30 hours per week and one weekend per month. A stipend is provided. While experience is preferred, it is absolutely not required ,we will train dedicated individuals who are eager to learn
For information about our internship program, please TEXT Janine directly.

The photo attached features some of our incredible nighttime staff .Meet our "Dream Team". They are some of the most compassionate people you'll ever meet💞 but don't let that fool you. These women are tough, hardworking, and absolutely relentless when it comes to getting things done and taking no bull. The animals couldn't ask for better advocates in their corner. ❤️🦝🦊🦉🦌 While most people are sleeping, these dedicated individuals are preparing diets, administering treatments, cleaning enclosures, monitoring critical patients, and ensuring every animal receives the care it needs🥰. Their commitment is nothing short of extraordinary, and we could not do this work without them.
If you've been looking for a meaningful way to give back, gain hands-on wildlife experience, or become part of something bigger than yourself, we'd love to meet you.
The animals need us. We need you. ❤️🦝🦊🦉🦌

Teen Volunteer Club at the Valley Community Library is an opportunity for teens to earn community service hours, share their thoughts on teen programing and space, and socialize with new friends while building a resume. Teens will work with library staff on a variety of tasks that are needed for the library to run smoothly and aid our amazing programs. Interested teens should fill out a Teen Volunteer Application. For all volunteers or presenters ages 14 and older we require their PA Criminal Background Check (available to be filled out at https://epatch.pa.gov/home) and a copy of a valid PA Child Abuse History Clearance (available to be printed from or filled out at compass.state.pa.us/cwis/public/home). This paperwork should be turned in at the front desk of the Library. Registration is required for each Teen Volunteer Club meeting so we can plan for the number of volunteers. We must have the paperwork turned in at the front desk ahead of time.
