At the Last Supper, hours before His arrest, Jesus’ own disciples started arguing about who among them was the greatest.

He didn’t scold them. He redefined the whole idea of greatness instead:

“In this world the kings and great men lord it over their people. But among you it will be different. Those who are the greatest among you should take the lowest rank, and the leader should be like a servant.” Luke 22:25-26, NLT

Then He showed them what He meant.

That same night, Jesus tied a towel around His waist and washed His disciples’ feet, the job usually left to the lowest servant in the house.

Not a king’s authority.
A towel and a basin.

Maybe that’s you right now, wondering if you’re even qualified to call what you do “leadership.” Maybe it’s you keeping this church, this team, this home running while nobody claps. Maybe leadership has burned you before and you’re not sure you trust the word anymore. Jesus isn’t asking any of you to climb. He’s asking you to serve, and calling that greatness.

Some days leading feels like too much. 🤯🫣

The lesson you’re not sure you prepped well enough.

The ministry that feels more like burden than calling some weeks.

The quiet moment you wonder if anyone sees how tired you actually are.

We see you. The Lord sees you.

“She gave this name to the Lord who spoke to her: ‘You are the God who sees me,’ for she said, ‘I have now seen the One who sees me.’”
-Genesis 16:13

And we wanted to say the thing you might need to hear today. ♥️

You don’t have to have it all figured out. One faithful step today is enough, God multiplies it. And whatever you’re carrying, you weren’t meant to carry it alone.

Most of us know what it’s like to feel discouraged, weary, or unsure we’re doing this leadership thing right.

Ministry, marriage, motherhood, work, friendship — whatever room God has placed you in to lead.

That’s exactly who this gathering is for.

On August 8, Brenna Stull is joining us for Leadership: A New Time.

Brenna is a speaker, two-time author, and church planter who, alongside her husband Chris, has spent years investing in people through marriage conferences and opening their home to countless gatherings.

Her life’s mission is simple: to faithfully steward everything God entrusts to her, and to inspire others to do the same.

Esther didn’t feel ready either. She was young, uncertain of her place, and suddenly positioned for something bigger than herself.

But God had been preparing her long before she ever understood why. 🙌
