In Haiti, nearly 2 in 10 children ages 6–11 do not attend primary school.

For children living in poverty and rural communities, access to education can be especially difficult. That’s why C4C supports schools in rural communities throughout Haiti—to help ensure that no child is left behind.

Please join us in wishing Todd a very happy birthday! 🎉🎂

Todd has been part of the Chances for Children team for almost five years, and during that time, he has helped our agriculture programs grow tremendously. 🌱

Todd is incredibly passionate about what he does and deeply committed to serving the Haitian communities where we work. He has a generous heart, a willingness to jump in wherever he is needed, and if he doesn’t know the answer or how to do something, he’s always willing to learn, research, and figure it out. His dedication and desire to continually grow have made such an impact on our programs and the families we serve.

We are so grateful for Todd, his leadership, and all he brings to our team. Happy Birthday, Todd! We hope you feel celebrated today! 🎈🥳

🩹❤️‍🩹 From Tears to Smiles ❤️‍🩹🩹

Injuries can be scary—especially for a young child. After getting his finger caught in a door, 5-year-old J.H. was understandably upset, and his aunt was worried as they came to our clinic for the first time.

But with compassionate care from our clinic team, those tears soon turned into a smile. By the end of his visit, he even admitted that he liked his nurse! 😊 The highest compliment for a pediatric nurse! 🎉

His aunt was incredibly grateful and shared her sincere appreciation for the professionalism of our clinic staff and the high-quality care they provided.

Moments like this remind us why we are so grateful to serve the families and communities in our area. Whether it’s a routine visit or an unexpected injury, being there when children and families need care most is a privilege.

We are grateful to be a place where children can find comfort, compassionate care, and—hopefully—a few smiles along the way. ❤️‍🩹

✨ From one month old to forever home—what a beautiful story to celebrate! 🇭🇹❤️🇨🇦

We have exciting news—Mr. J recently left Haiti to join his forever family in Canada! 🎉

The children were so happy to celebrate with him, while also feeling the emotions that come with saying goodbye to someone they love. Before leaving, Mr. J took time to thank the nannies and children for the years they shared together. It was an incredibly touching and joyful moment. ❤️

Mr. J came to us at just one month old, weighing only 7 pounds. To see how he has grown and flourished over the past six years has been an incredible honor and a beautiful reminder of what love and faithful care can do.

Stories like Mr. J’s are made possible through your love, prayers, generosity, and support. Thank you for being part of his story and the stories of so many children in Haiti.

What a beautiful picture of grace and resilience! 🙌🇭🇹

Despite the ongoing challenges in Haiti, especially in Kenscoff, we are so grateful that our local church was still able to gather for their annual convention celebration.

Typically, this special week brings together members from our church locations throughout Haiti to worship, fellowship, and celebrate all the Lord has done. This year, travel from other villages was not possible, but by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, our Kenscoff church family gathered and celebrated nonetheless!

We are so encouraged by their resilience and faithfulness. ❤️ Thank you for continuing to pray for and support our church and communities in Haiti.

We look forward with hope to all the Lord has in store in the year ahead!
