Meet the hibiscus! 🌺 Often celebrated as Haiti’s national flower, the hibiscus is known locally as Rose Cayenne and adds a beautiful splash of color to the island’s landscape. 🇭🇹

With its five delicate petals and vibrant shades of red, pink, yellow, and white, this tropical flower is truly a sight to behold!

Beyond its beauty, certain varieties of hibiscus are also used in traditional teas and are known for their antioxidant properties.

Just another beautiful reminder of the natural treasures found throughout Haiti! 💛

Nearly 10 years ago, when they first came into our care, they needed to know they were loved, valued, and supported—and that a brighter future was possible.

Today, their beautiful smiles tell part of that story. Over the years, they have grown surrounded by love, encouragement, care, and hope for what lies ahead. 💛

Every child deserves to know they are valued and to be given the opportunity to learn, grow, and dream about their future.

🎉 Happy Birthday, Frantzcy! 🎉

Today we’re celebrating Frantzcy, an incredibly important part of the Chances for Children team!

Frantzcy joined C4C in 2014, first serving as a receptionist in our medical clinic. Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of watching him grow tremendously—both professionally and personally. Today, as a trained accountant, he plays an essential role in managing our finances in Haiti while continuing to support the administrative needs of our medical clinic.

But if you’ve had the chance to meet Frantzcy, you probably know him best by his big smile! 😊 His joy, kindness, and willingness to help others are such a gift to our team.

Frantzcy, we are so grateful for the many years you have faithfully served alongside us and for everything you do behind the scenes to keep C4C moving forward.
