It's amazing how much can change in such a short amount of time. As we look at B's first photo with us and compare it to today, we're celebrating a very special milestone—his 2nd birthday! 🎉

Please join us at the Creche in wishing this sweet little boy a very happy (belated) birthday. It has been a joy to witness B's growth, progress, and the many milestones he has reached along the way.

We are especially grateful to B's sponsors, whose generosity has helped provide the support and resources he needed to get to where he is today.

As B begins another year, we pray for days filled with fun, continued growth and development, and many peaceful nights. Happy Birthday, B! 💙

Today, we want to wish a very HAPPY BIRTHDAY to our amazing volunteer, Lori Saxon! 🥰🎉

Lori has been faithfully serving with Chances for Children since 2011, and we are so grateful for her many years of dedication. She helped us implement Salesforce and, 15 years later, she is still our trusted Salesforce guru - working tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure event details are captured accurately and providing us with invaluable reports that help our work run smoothly.

Lori’s selfless service, attention to detail, and heart for helping others have been such a blessing to our organization.

Please join us in celebrating Lori today! We are praying her year ahead is filled with love, joy, and many blessings. 💙✨ Happy Birthday, Lori!

📣 Watchout Wednesday: Our 2025 Annual Report is now live!

2025 was a year marked by both highs and lows, but through it all, we are deeply grateful for what was accomplished in our communities in Haiti. Even in the face of challenging circumstances, the work continued—and the impact is something we don’t take lightly.

We invite you to read the full story, including a powerful feature on the Jean-Marc family and their journey, which helps bring to life why this work matters so much.

Take a few minutes to explore the report in our bio or at:https://chances4children.org/C4C-AnnualReport25.pdf

Thank you for being part of this story and for standing with us in Haiti.

✨ 25 Sponsors in 25 Days ✨

We’re looking for 25 people to step in and become sponsors in the next 25 days to help keep our feeding programs in Haiti running strong. ❤️

Earlier this year, our Feeding Program Manager, Jen, traveled to Cap-Haïtien, Haiti, to explore opportunities for expanding our feeding programs. What she witnessed left a lasting impact.

“I met pastors and leaders faithfully serving children and families every single day. Despite the overwhelming need, I saw incredible joy, resilience, and gratitude in the children I met. Looking into their eyes changed me forever.

This March, we launched TWO new feeding programs in Cap-Haïtien, providing consistent meals, care, and hope to an additional 520 children.

Now, we need your help to keep these programs running.”

Every donation helps provide nourishment, stability, and hope to children who need it most. Together, we can remind these children that they are seen, valued, and deeply loved. ❤️

Please consider giving at the link in our bio or visit:

💛 A little kindness can make a lifelong difference. 💛

“Be kind and compassionate to one another.”
— Ephesians 4:32

Kindness has the power to transform a life.

Thank you for standing with the children of Haiti through your prayers, encouragement, and support. Every act of compassion brings hope, joy, and a brighter future to a child who needs it most. 🙏🇭🇹

Together, we can continue being the hands and feet of Jesus by sharing love, hope, and kindness with the next generation. ❤️

🌱 Meet Farmer Minal. Through our Smallholder Farming Program in Caporal, Minal has gained the tools and support needed to provide more consistent meals, keep her children in school, and build a more stable future for her family. Her story is a reminder of how sustainable agriculture creates lasting hope in Haiti. 🇭🇹❤️

What does a flag represent? For our students in Haiti, it represents history, resilience, unity, and pride. 🇭🇹❤️💙

Recently, our students celebrated Flag Day — a national holiday in Haiti honoring the rich history and meaning behind the Haitian flag. Throughout the celebration, students had the opportunity to learn more about their country and culture while proudly celebrating alongside classmates and teachers.

Moments like these do more than teach history — they help instill pride in identity, heritage, and community. We love seeing our students learn, celebrate, and grow together both inside and outside of the classroom. ✨

to a pivotal season in the history of Chances for Children ❤️🇭🇹

C4C first began working in Haiti in 2006 in Lamerdelle, near Croix-des-Bouquets. But after the devastating earthquake in 2010, everything changed. Like so many organizations serving Haiti, we were faced with the difficult reality of starting over.

Between the earthquake, changes within our Haitian partner organization, and the growing needs throughout the country, it became clear that it was time to prayerfully seek a new long-term partnership.

For the next 12 months, C4C worked alongside four different Haitian NGOs located in Ouanaminthe, Delmas, Jacmel, and Kenscoff. It was a long and intentional process — one focused on ensuring that every donor investment would create meaningful impact while remaining secure, sustainable, and rooted in trust.

In March 2011, C4C made the decision to partner with the church in Kenscoff… and as they say, “the rest is history.”

What began as a season of uncertainty became the foundation for years of ministry, growth, and hope for children and families across Haiti. We are grateful for every supporter who has walked this journey with us over the years.

Please join us in wishing our Women’s Empowerment Manager, Christy, a very happy birthday! 🎉

Christy joined our team 2.5 years ago after God beautifully crossed our paths, and it quickly became clear that she has a deep passion for helping women earn a dignified income and provide for their families.

Through incredibly challenging seasons, Christy has worked tirelessly to sustain and grow this program - always with grace, patience, and compassion. Her creativity, dedication, and heart for this work is evident in everything she does, and we are so thankful to have her as part of our team.

Christy, we are praying this next year is filled with joy, encouragement, and many blessings.

Happy Birthday! 💛
