We’ve had an amazing week alongside Folds of Honor Rocky Mountain, connecting with riders from across the country and sharing the mission of Folds of Honor.

Mission Monday 🇺🇸🎓

Sometimes, strength looks like finding your voice.

For Gabrielle, that journey hasn’t been easy, but it’s been powerful.

The daughter of EMT Vanessa Burris, Gabrielle is growing into the person her mother always believed she could be. From a quiet student to confidently appearing on camera for her school broadcast, she is learning to step forward with courage and purpose.

Her mom lived a life of service, choosing to care for others when they needed it most. That same compassion now lives on in Gabrielle.

Whether she’s mentoring younger students, teaching dance, or simply showing up with kindness, she carries forward a legacy built on love, resilience, and heart.

Because even through loss, her mother’s words remain:

“It’s okay. We’ve got this.”

Sometimes, the biggest lessons are the ones that shape your direction.

For Ethan Pitzer, it’s learning to work hard now so the future is full of possibility.

The son of U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer Larry Pitzer, Ethan has seen what it means to find purpose through discipline and growth. Now, as a high school junior, he’s pushing himself to go further. Taking extra classes, pursuing his interest in aviation, and setting his sights on becoming a fighter pilot.

Because to him, success isn’t just about talent.

It’s about showing up, putting in the work, and choosing to grow every day.

🇺🇸 This week, our Executive Board and staff had the privilege of traveling to the headquarters of Folds of Honor for a tour, our Q2 Board Meeting, and time spent with the incredible National team across multiple departments.

A heartfelt thank you to the National staff for your hospitality and unwavering dedication to the mission. Your passion and commitment continue to inspire us as we work together to serve the families of America’s fallen and disabled military service members and first responders.

We also want to thank our Board Members for taking time away from their busy schedules to fully immerse themselves in the mission. Seeing the impact firsthand only fuels our commitment to making a difference here in Minnesota.

We are energized for the summer ahead and excited for the impact we will make together providing life-changing educational scholarships and ensuring these families know their sacrifices will never be forgotten.

Today is more than a holiday. It is a solemn reminder of the brave men and women who gave everything for this country. 🇺🇸

At Folds of Honor Minnesota, Memorial Day is a direct representation of why our mission exists. Because behind every fallen service member is a family forever changed. spouses, sons, and daughters carrying on without the one they love most.

We also recognize that today is a day to share stories, reflect on their lives, and keep their memory alive for generations to come. We exist to honor their sacrifice by educating their legacy through life changing educational scholarships for the families of fallen and disabled military members and first responders.

As we gather with family and friends today, may we never forget the true cost of our freedom and the men and women who made it possible.
