“Our homeowner, James, didn’t call me by my name. He gave us all nicknames; he eventually landed on ‘Honey’ because, as he liked to put it, ‘you’re sweet like honey, but you can sting like a bee.’ At the time, I thought it was a silly joke for the week. But the more I think about it, the more I realize it’s the perfect description of ASP— the sweet moments of connections within your group and with your homeowner and the hard work that stings enough to leave a mark on your heart.”

-Lauren, 5th year of ASP

We started this morning by playing an intense game of musical chairs, learning ways we can be sensitive when serving, and reflecting on this years ASP’s theme: love your neighbor… there’s no better way to start off February than that 💟

Crazy to think in just 180 days, we’ll be on our way to serve with the 🏡🛠️🤩

Because of our sponsors, we were able to turn generosity into real change. Swipe ➡️ to see how your donations were used, the homes we were able to both build and repair, and the lives that were changed in the process 🤗🏡

As we prepare for our 2026 trip, we’re looking for more sponsors! If you know of any businesses or families who want to support a worthy cause and make a real impact, please reach out or send them our way.

Together, we can keep building hope one home at a time 😍
