Meet Frito — Professional Heart-Stealer, Pup-Cup Connoisseur & Certified Good Boy 🐾
Don’t let Frito’s adorably serious face fool you. This 11-month-old, 30-lb. boy is HAPPY. His tail seems to have missed the memo about his sad puppy-dog eyes, because it’s almost always wagging. Frito is a sweet, gentle guy who is discovering that life can be pretty wonderful—and he’d love to find a family to keep discovering it with.
And speaking of people... Frito LOVES them. ❤️ Grown-ups are great, but kids seem to hold an extra-special place in his heart. He loves attention, pets, and scratches, and he’s happiest when he gets to be part of whatever his people are doing. He could also do wonderfully with a doggy companion, so a home with another friendly pup could be a great fit.
Frito is house-trained and loves spending time outside. He enjoys going for walks and does well on a leash, needing only a few little corrections here and there. Around the house, he’s a pretty quiet guy who is perfectly content hanging out nearby and soaking up all the love that comes his way.
And this handsome boy is a learner! Frito is treat-motivated (he would like everyone to know this is a very important quality 😂), and he’s already conquered two big accomplishments: stairs and getting into the car!
Now that he’s figured out the car, though? He’s decided he’s a fan.
Long trip? Short trip? Running around the corner?
Frito would like to come.
Buckle him into his seatbelt and he’s ready for an adventure—especially if someone happens to mention a pup cup along the way. 🍦🚗
He’s not food-aggressive, happily accepts treats, and is particularly fond of rope toys. When playtime is over, Frito has exactly two known sleeping configurations:
🌯 Burito Mode: curled into one perfectly cozy little Frito Burrito
AT-AT Mode: legs stretched out in every direction like an Imperial Walker that has finally run out of batteries.
Frito is the kind of dog whose personality sneaks up on you. He’s sweet, affectionate, easygoing, people-loving, kid-loving, dog-friendly, and just happy to be included. Give him some scratches, take him outside, toss around a rope toy, invite him along for a car ride, and you’ve pretty much made his day.
He may have mastered the sad puppy eyes, but underneath that serious little face is one seriously happy boy with a whole lot of love to give. ❤️
Now Frito just needs to conquer one last thing:
