After careful reflection, HWCA's volunteer leadership has decided to step back from the organization. We are proud of what our community accomplished together over the past two years and deeply grateful to everyone who participated in meetings, events, workshops, and conversations about the future of Waters Avenue.

The vision created by our neighbors remains worth pursuing, and we hope the relationships, lessons, and momentum built through this effort continue to serve the community for years to come.

We are pleased to announce we are co-hosting a commercial open house with two property owners at the corner of 40th and Waters Avenue. It’s happening May 28 from 4 to 7 PM.

Both properties will be open for viewing, and come meet the property owners to get pricing and terms.

Both properties are TC-1 zoning ideal for retail, office, restaurant, or creative space. You’d be across the street from , , , and Umami Noodle Bar.

Know someone aged 14-18 looking for a summer job opportunity? Then have them apply!

We are excited to announce that the City of Savannah's Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement has awarded us a grant to establish a neighborhood improvement team, and we invite your participation.

We intend to engage up to 10 local youth, aged 14-18, for an 8-week period to assist with various neighborhood projects. If you know of any young individuals seeking employment, please encourage them to apply using the provided application form:
