⚾️ BASEBALL IS ALIVE AND WELL AT JAC! ⚾️
A huge shoutout to two of our great local coaches, Jason Harper & Chris Jones, who absolutely outdid themselves today! These guys spent their entire day reviving the JAC baseball field and getting it ready for another busy season.
This fall, we’ll have 4 baseball teams plus Calvary softball using the field. And when you think about the fact that we had 27 baseball teams last spring and even hosted two of our own leagues, you can see just how important this field has become to our kids and our community.
We are extremely thankful for people like Jason and Chris who are willing to roll up their sleeves, put in the work, and invest in our young athletes.
Baseball is alive and well at the Jenkins Athletic Club, and we’re only getting started! ⚾️💪

🏀 Afterschool Hoopstars is going strong! 🏀
We feel incredibly blessed to be starting our 3rd year of the JAC Afterschool Program!
It may be one of our smallest programs, but there’s no doubt it has one of the BIGGEST impacts. ❤️ These kids get a safe place to learn, play, build friendships, and grow every single day.
A huge THANK YOU to everyone who makes this program possible—from our amazing staff and parents to the generous donors who help fund the program and give these kids opportunities they deserve.
This is what JAC is all about—building champions on and off the court! 🏀💪

📣 Big News from the Jenkins Athletic Club! 📣
The Jenkins Athletic Club is beyond excited to officially introduce our new Afterschool Program Director, Faith Fox!🎉
You may have already seen Faith around the club over the past few years as she's worked closely with Corey on our Gala, Summer Camp, and countless other projects behind the scenes. Her passion for serving others and helping our club grow has been evident every step of the way.
Faith is the proud mother of seven children who, since moving to Savannah from Seattle, have become deeply involved in the Jenkins Athletic Club through many of our programs. She is incredibly dedicated to her family, active in her church, and fully committed to making a positive impact in the lives of the children and families in our community.
Her heart for kids, leadership, and vision for our afterschool program make her the perfect fit for this role. We can't wait to see the incredible things she has in store for our youth and the continued growth of our programs.

📣 Big News from the Jenkins Athletic Club! 📣
The Jenkins Athletic Club is proud and excited to introduce our new Assistant Director, Coach Mickey Minick! 🎉
Coach Mickey has worked closely alongside Coach Corey for many years while serving as a dedicated member of the Jenkins Athletic Club Board of Directors for nearly 20 years. His passion for our mission and the youth of Savannah has been evident every step of the way.
Like so many of us, Mickey's story began at the Boys Club. He grew up as a member, experienced firsthand the impact the club can have on a young person's life, and later chose to give back by serving on our board. Now, after retiring and stepping away from the board, he has come full circle and is dedicating himself full-time to serving the next generation as our Assistant Director.
A fun fact many of you may not know—Mickey's father made such a tremendous impact on youth sports in Savannah that an entire athletic complex bears his name. The Minick Complex on Sallie Mood Drive stands as a lasting reminder of his family's commitment to our community.
Coach Mickey's heart for kids, leadership, and lifelong connection to the club make him the perfect person for this role, and we couldn't be more excited about the future.

The Jenkins Athletic Club is about so much more than basketball.
Do we do basketball the best? No doubt. 🏀 With more than 100 teams, we know how to ball out—no pun intended.
But our real mission is much bigger than the scoreboard.
Every year, we impact thousands of kids through flag football, baseball, swimming, weight training, summer camps, after-school programs, tutoring, scholarships, and community outreach. We're committed to creating a safer, stronger, and more exciting place for Savannah's youth to learn, grow, and play.
Now we're asking our community to join us in that mission.

After the success of last year's Forging the Future Gala, we're excited to announce the 2nd Annual "All In for the Kids" Casino Royale 007 Gala!
