With intention, care, and a vision for something even greater, we have made the decision to postpone the Savannah Asian Festival to October 2026.

This was not an easy decision. But it is the right one.

We are committed to creating an experience that truly honors the beauty, diversity, and impact of AAPI culture, one that is bigger, more inclusive, and more powerful than ever before.

This gives us the time to grow what this festival truly deserves to be:

✨ Legacy of the East: 2026 Asian Festival Update ✨

We are incredibly excited to share a meaningful update with our community as we continue building something truly special for Savannah.

Since January 2026, our team has been actively planning the Legacy of the East Asian Festival—a celebration of culture, community, food, and artistry that honors the richness of AAPI heritage right here in our city.

We are proud to share that we have established a partnership with the Convention Center, and conversations are continuing to grow in a very positive direction. This is a possible site we will be using.

At this time, we are awaiting final guidance from the City of Savannah leadership regarding a recommended location. Following our most recent AAPI Task Force Chair Meeting on March 10th, the Enmarket Arena has been presented as a potential host site, and we are hopeful and excited about what this could mean for the scale and impact of this festival.

💛 We want to be transparent with you every step of the way.
💛 We want this to be done right.
💛 And we want YOU to be a part of it.

As we move forward, we will continue to provide updates on:
