Founded on January 12, 1914, the Rotary Club of Savannah is the second oldest club in the state of Georgia.

Our Oct. 19 meeting was inside the beautiful Regina Coeli Hall at Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist. The club welcomed three new members and heard from Kimberly Waller, CEO of United Way of the Coastal Empire.

At our Oct. 5 meeting, the club welcomed two new Rotarians. Col. Ronald "Red" Alligood with the 165th Airlift Wing, and Gene Maria with Hansen Architects. Our speaker was Georgia Speaker of the House Jon Burns, (R) Dist. 159.

We wrapped up Infrastructure Month with Effingham County Manager Tim Callanan. Callanan gave presentation on water and sewer and water resources in Effingham County. The club also passed a resolution nominating former club president Pete Hoffmann for District Governor 2029-2030 term.

What a great Monday at the Rotary Club of Savannah! 💙💛

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming fellow Rotarians from Metropolitan Savannah Rotary, Rotary Club of Savannah East, Rotary Club of Savannah South, and Rotary Club of Savannah West for a wonderful time of fellowship and connection.

We were also honored to hear from our Rotary District 6920 Governor, Beverly Trainor, and wrapped up the meeting with Ron Feldner, the City of Savannah’s Chief of Water Resources, who shared valuable insight into the work happening across our community.

There’s always something special about bringing Rotarians together from across Savannah. Different clubs, one shared commitment to Service Above Self.

Infrastructure month continues! At our Aug. 17 meeting, we heard from Julie Musselman with Savannah's Waterfront and Richard Kessler, chairman of the Savannah Waterfront Community Improvement District. Pres. Critz also swapped banners with a Rotarian visiting from Nepal 🇳🇵

Welcome, Leo! Our GRSP student Leo Victor is here! After some travel delays, Leo landed in Hilton Head and was greeted by Mark, husband of club member Nina Gompels. We're excited to have Leo here!

We kicked off "Infrastructure Month" at our Aug. 3 meeting! Many thanks to our guest speaker Kelvin Moore, Sr. VP with Georgia World Congress Center & GM of Savannah Convention Center for sharing all the great work going on over on Hutchinson Island.

This week’s Rotary meeting featured Mike Traynor, Crystal Cooper, Stephanie Kaple, and Jennifer Dulong, who shared valuable insights on local efforts to end homelessness.

Their presentation highlighted the importance of collaboration among community organizations, service providers, and local leaders to address homelessness and support our neighbors in need.
