We welcome all levels of artists, from beginner to professional, in a friendly and nurturing environment where artists help one another to learn new techniques, improve their work and succeed in the art world. The SAA conducts exhibits, demonstrations, workshops and educational programs that support it’s members and the community at large. We also provide opportunities for our members to showcase
their work, by partnering with local business and associations willing to offer venues for openings and other art events. Encouragement and recognition for outstanding work is facilitated through honors and awards. General membership meeting are held each month with additional events, discussions, exhibits and shows scheduled throughout the year. Though we are the oldest art association in Georgia and can look fondly at our history, we also have our eyes on the future with our website, where members may post current art events, calls for entries and host a forum to discuss art topics. Our site also provides an online gallery for its members art and information about our artists. Just one look at the sampling from our artists demonstrates the compelling nature if visual art an the diversity of our art community. We hope that you will join us by fostering your artistic vision an skills within the Savannah Art Association. Community
