The Satellite Beach Recreation Department offers engaging programs & a variety of specialized classes for all ages. Our Activity Brochure is published 3 times per year and is available online. The Recreation Department offers a variety of recreation facilities and rental facilities throughout the city. Detailed information regarding any of our classes, special events & facilities can be found on o

🚧 IMPORTANT TRAFFIC NOTICE – JACKSON AVENUE CLOSURE 🚧

Beginning Tuesday, May 26, 2026, Jackson Avenue will be temporarily closed from South Patrick Drive to Sunset Street for approximately four weeks as part of ongoing infrastructure improvement projects.

⚠️ Traffic Changes:
• No left turn from southbound South Patrick Drive onto Jackson Avenue
• Northbound right-turn lane onto Jackson Avenue will also be closed

✅ Access to the following locations will remain available via South Patrick Drive:
• DRS Community Center
• U.S. Post Office
• Dill Dinkers
• CubeSmart
• Curri Properties

Businesses on the south side of Jackson Avenue will remain OPEN during construction. Customers and visitors will be directed to park in the DRS parking lot and use a designated pedestrian walkway for safe access.

City staff and contractors will continue working closely with impacted businesses to minimize disruptions and complete the project as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we complete these important infrastructure improvements.
