55+ Club of Satellite Beach Dedicated to "SEE" Social, Educational & Entertainment In early 2002 the Satellite Beach Recreation Dept. The ad-hoc committee met and officers were nominated.

asked the Satellite Beach Community if there was an interest in starting a senior club. A meeting was announced and was attended by five people! From those meager beginnings, an ad-hoc committee was formed to move forward with initiating a senior club. A decision was made to name the new club, “55+ Club of Satellite Beach”. The committee started the process of creating a Mission Statement; By-laws and Activities. A kick-off luncheon was planned for Dec. 2002 and was very successful, 140 new members were registered. In Feb of 2003 the Organizational Model was presented by the ad-hoc committee and approved by the board. The board moved forward to file the appropriate paperwork to register the club as a 5013C. From March 2003 to current date the club’s organizational model and activity growth strategy was implemented and current membership stands at 600+. The 55+ Club’s Mission Statement is:
“To sponsor and coordinate programs that provide social, entertainment and educational opportunities that will enhance the quality of life for our 55+community”. The club is dedicated to “SEE” Social, Education and Entertainment

The 55+ Club welcomes all seniors 55 and up and is NOT limited to Satellite Beach residents. The dues are $7.00 per year. A newsletter is mailed to your home every other month and email announcements are often sent. We are always looking for interesting and different activities, as well as workers to assist in the many activities offered. Many businesses in the surrounding community have become 55+ Club Newsletter sponsors. These gracious sponsors help make our newsletter possible.

Extended trip Recap
PIGEON FORGE, GATLINBURG & SMOKY MOUNTAINS TRIP A HUGE SUCCESS!
Forty-five adventurous 55+ Club members enjoyed an unforgettable trip to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg, and the Smoky Mountains from September 21–26. The crisp fall weather and beautiful autumn colors provided the perfect backdrop for a fantastic getaway!
Our group enjoyed four full days of exciting stage shows, plenty of delicious food, and lots of Southern hospitality. We toured the beautiful Smoky Mountains, enjoyed some great meals, and even sampled a little free moonshine!
A special bonus was an added visit to a Dolly Parton memorial, which everyone enjoyed. From the entertainment to the scenery, food, laughter, and new friendships, it was a wonderful trip from beginning to end.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this adventure such a success!
READY FOR OUR NEXT ADVENTURE?

INDOOR PICNIC RECAP
Well, Butter My Butt and Call Me a Biscuit!
Everyone who attended our picnic had a pretty good time! We beat the heat—and the bugs—by holding the shindig indoors, with about 50 people in attendance.
A big thank-you to Joyce Vondoran and Jill Blakeway for cooking up a picnic-style lunch of hot dogs, chips, soda, tea, and cookies for dessert.
We also appreciate our generous sponsors—Brookdale, Home Instead, One Senior Place, Edward Jones, Brevard Parkinson’s Alliance, VITAS, and HomeSmart Coastal Realty. Our sponsors either donated door prizes or contributed toward the meal.
We were happy to put the leftover cookies to good use by donating them to The Haven, a shelter for children.
After lunch, everyone had a chance to work off those hot dogs with some indoor fun, including horseshoes, darts, and co****le. President Vicki kept the competition lively by handing out plenty of small prizes to our game participants.
It was a fun afternoon filled with good food, games, laughter, and great company!
