Dusty and Jenny have stollen the show - so many applications we couldn’t keep up!

These two siblings were flown in from CA so they could avoid the shelter system. They were part of an accidental litter of puppies, something that happens all too often. Even perfect babies like these are at risk for euthanasia the second they step into an overcrowded shelter on the West Coast.

Dusty and Jenny will get their happily every after thanks to Refueling Souls getting them safely to us 🤍

Franklin Update ❤️‍🩹

Franklin recently went back to see his cardiologist. We have good news and we have bad news…

Bad news first - Franklin is now battling pulmonary hypertension, or high blood pressure from his congenital heart condition.

Good news - he is big and strong enough for surgery!

Our poor little guy is in need of surgery AS SOON AS POSSIBLE now that he is showing signs of high blood pressure.

We have raised a lot of money for Franklin, but there is still SO much left to go. We have his fundraiser listed in our bio if you are willing to donate. Any small amount makes a huge difference 🫶🏻

2 very special passengers aboard Southwest ☺️

Incoming!!!!!

Dusty and his sister Jenny are headed to our little rescue all the way from California ✈️

They are flying first class via SWATT and they have made a TON of new friends. This transport team is unbelievable. 3 flights in 2 days, several flight attendants volunteering on their day off, AND a sleepover halfway so they get a break from the travel ❤️

These two came from an accidental litter and needed a way out in order to avoid the shelter system. YES - they are as sweet as they look.

Dusty and Jenny have been waiting for their freedom flight for quite some time now. They have been getting all the love from our rescue partner Refueling Souls. We are eternally grateful 🫶🏻

P.S. Dusty survived a rattle snake bite 💪🏻 if you want a little guy that’s been through it all - he’s your pup!

We wanted to give a huge shoutout to the sweetest kiddos at Saratoga Independent School. They set up this adorable lemonade stand and made nearly $250 to go towards Franklins heart surgery 🥲

Teddy - one of the boys attending Saratoga Independent School adopted his best friend from us a few months ago. He was eager to give back and he did so in a huge way.

None of these kids have ever met Franklin - they just stepped in because they know he needs help. We are so, so thankful for this overwhelming kindness.

We get so many updates on this little man, and he even stopped in to see us this week!!

Franklin needs our community 🥺

Poor little Franklin is in need of a life saving heart surgery costing just shy of $8,000. We refuse to give up on him!!!!!

We will be doing many different fundraisers within the next few months, PLEASE send us any suggestions. We are open to anything that will help. We are unable to take in new dogs until we come up with the funds to save Franklin.

**Quick recap…. Franklin was flown from California to our little rescue in NY after being put on the San Bernardino Shelters euthanasia list due to health concerns. We are almost positive Franklin was dumped by a breeder after it was discovered he had congenital health issues. Franklin deserves an army to fight for him.

Not what we wanted to hear, but the chance of Franklin being able to live a full and normal life gives us hope!

We will start fundraising as soon as possible for Franklins surgery. Stay tuned!

Meet our newest medical intake… Franklin! 🤍

Franklin was rescued and flown to us from an overcrowded shelter in Southern California. Because he has microphthalmia—a congenital condition that left him with an abnormally small eye (“tiny eye”)—the shelter placed him on the euthanasia list shortly after he arrived.

Once we received Franklin and he saw our vet, we also learned he has a very serious and potentially life threatening heart murmur.

Little Franklin has a lot of appointments coming up, and we promise we will do the best we can. We are most likely going to be doing some fundraising to help with the expense of his care. Any recommendations are welcome, we need all the help we can get.

We appreciate any thoughts and prayers in the meantime!! 🤞🏻💌
