Since 1946, Easterseals Southwest Florida and the Happiness House has supported individuals with disabilities to live their best lives and be engaged in their communities. On day one, the people of our compassionate, caring nonprofit have offered help and hope to children and adults with disabilities, working to ensure all abilities of all ages have the opportunity to shine. Easterseals Happiness House excels in innovating, seeking creative solutions and anticipating the changing needs of those we serve. This commitment to quality and support has led to the creation of a range of beneficial programs and services designed to make a tangible and positive impact for our clients and students. From child development, autism, family support and veteran services to artistic expression, therapeutic, diagnostic, and educational delivery, we now offer a variety of ways to help people with disabilities and their families address life’s challenges, achieve personal goals, and feel included and valued in everything they do.

Partnership Alert!

Join us for **The Event at TerraNova, November 12–15, 2026!** We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help make this incredible weekend of world-class equestrian competition a success!

Never been to an eventing show? No horse experience? **No problem!** There are lots of opportunities to get involved, from hospitality and assisting competitors to helping behind the scenes. Whether you can give a few hours or several days, we'd love to have you on the team!

TerraNova Foundation will donate **$20 for every volunteer hour worked** to Easterseals Southwest Florida Our volunteers raised over **$17,500 for Easterseals at our spring event**, and we're excited to build on that success this November!

It's a fun way to meet new people, experience an amazing sporting event, and make a real difference in our community.

What a spooktacular morning! 🎃👻

Today was our annual Halloween Parade, and we were thrilled to welcome so many wonderful community partners and friends who joined in the fun by decorating their tables, dressing up, and handing out candy to our preschool children and adult students.

It was a morning filled with sweet treats, big smiles, festive creativity, and plenty of Halloween spirit!

A heartfelt THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this tradition so special. We are grateful for a community that shows up, celebrates together, and makes memories with us! 🧡🖤

BIG things are happening at the Malcolm Family Autism Center of Excellence at Easterseals Southwest Florida! As we prepare to welcome 120 new children to our preschool in 2027, we’re building a collection of books to inspire curiosity, support learning, and nurture a lifelong love of reading.

💙💛🧡 GROW, LEARN & THRIVE: ABA THERAPY ENROLLMENT IS OPEN!

Easterseals Southwest Florida is accepting new families at our ABA Clinic! We provide individualized behavior therapy for children ages 2–17 with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis.

Through ABA therapy, children can develop essential skills that support everyday success, including:
👉 Building communication and social skills
👉 Developing emotional regulation
👉 Strengthening daily living skills
👉 Encouraging positive behaviors

Our dedicated team works closely with each child and their family to create personalized goals, celebrate progress, and support growth toward greater confidence and independence.

What a special evening celebrating the incredible artists and creativity behind Our CommUNITY! 💙

Seeing our artists, clients, families, staff, board members, and supporters come together at The Ringling was such a wonderful reminder of what makes our community so special.

This exhibition is a true collaboration between Easterseals Southwest Florida, The Haven, and Loveland Center, bringing together the creativity, talents, and dedication of our clients, artists, staff, and art teams from all three organizations.

More than beautiful artwork, Our CommUNITY reflects the places we call home, the connections we share, and the people who make our community what it is.

Save the Date: A New Chapter Is Set to Begin at Easterseals Southwest Florida!

Join us on Thursday, January 21, 2027 at 10 AM for the ribbon-cutting of the Malcolm Family Autism Center of Excellence as we celebrate an exciting milestone in our Campaign for Compassion.

For more than 80 years, Easterseals Southwest Florida has been empowering individuals and families living with disabilities. Now, a new era is set to begin as we expand and transform our campus to meet the growing needs of our community.

Through new facilities, renovated spaces, and a more accessible, inclusive campus, we’re creating room for more opportunities, greater independence, and life-changing services for the children, adults, and families who count on us.

This is more than a ribbon-cutting. It’s the first step towards a brand-new future filled with possibilities.
