Santa Rosa Southeast Greenway Campaign We are a community effort to develop a vibrant urban greenway on the 2-mile stretch of open space that links Spring Lake Park to downtown Santa Rosa.

Currently owned by Caltrans and unavailable for public use for over 50 years, the property may become available for sale in the near future. Our community has a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to acquire the land and create a vibrant urban greenway for residents and visitors to enjoy now and for years to come. This effort will require an active partnership of individuals, community groups, non-profit organizations, the business community, and local, regional, and state agencies.

Child in the Wild 2026 is just around the corner! This free, family-friendly event at Howarth Park will be held Sunday, May 31st from 12 noon to 4 pm.
