The mission of The Living Room is to ease adversity, promote stability, and support self-reliance for women and children who are homeless, or at-risk of homelessness, in Sonoma County. What We Do:
We work within three primary areas, housing, food, and outreach to women and their children.

The need is growing and our kitchen cannot. We've temporarily moved our food services to an offsite location to prepare for this next chapter, and we are so excited to be finally embarking on a major kitchen remodel!

So much gratitude to the team from Baker Tilly US for coming out and volunteering at The Living Room last week ❤️🛋️

As a part of their annual volunteer day, Baker Tilly's Santa Rosa office came out and helped tend our garden. We all rolled up our sleeves, weeded the garden, pruned some trees, and even did some power washing. It really is amazing what a dedicated team can accomplish in a couple hours!

Meet our Director of Operations, Elisa! She is the jill of all trades for The Living Room.

Most days you’ll find her working with our amazing volunteers and local vendors, maintaining our housing, thrift store, administration, and kitchen properties to ensure everything runs smoothly and safely. She’ll also jump in to support other staff and responsibilities to keep the flow of The Living Room’s mission moving forward.

She truly believes everyone deserves safety, stability, and a real chance to thrive and she’s proud to be a part of making that happen every day!

When she isn’t working at the living room, she's at home gardening with her son, hiking with friends, or feeding her beautiful wife a delicious home cooked meal.
