CALL FOR ENTRIES:

On Sunday, November 1st, 11am-3pm, the Santa Rosa Arts Center will accept submissions for our next small works exhibit, WINTER WONDERS.

We invite artists to submit up to two art pieces in any medium, no more than 12" in any direction. 2D pieces must be properly wired for hanging (no sawtooth hangers). This is our annual gift show, so we encourage artists to submit work that is affordable for holiday gifts. Purchasers will be able to take the art pieces home immediately after purchase, which is different from our usual exhibits.

This show begins on November 5th and will continue through January 2nd (different date than the flyer indicates). The First Friday Opening Reception is on November 6th from 5-8pm.

SHOW YOUR GRATITUDE BY GIVING TO THE REDWOOD EMPIRE FOOD BANK

This is the season of gratitude and thanksgiving for the abundance that many of us are fortunate to have and to share our abundance with those in need. Your donations of non-perishable food items for the REDWOOD EMPIRE FOOD BANK are so helpful to the many individuals and families in our community who are struggling right now.

As you write your grocery shopping lists and do your grocery shopping, please remember to add some items to donate. Canned Tuna or Chicken, Peanut Butter, Rice & Pasta, Oats, Dry Beans, and Low Sugar Cereal are the most needed items. Gather your donations and bring them to the Santa Rosa Arts Center during our open hours. We have a big blue barrel for your donations in the front entry hallway to the building. Our regular hours are Thursdays through Sundays, 11am to 3pm, and first Fridays from 5-8pm.

Thank you!
