We have no issue with increased tags to manage the herd, BUT… the loss of Lake Pillsbury will decimate the ecosystems & habitat for this thriving herd, our nesting bald eagles and many other beautiful species. This is unacceptable and one of the many reasons we fight to save Lake Pillsbury.

“PG&E’s decision to decommission the project is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to bring fairness.” Fairness? Fairness would be to consider all stakeholders and leave the dams in place to protect this valuable water resource.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Congressman Doug LaMalfa. We appreciated his engagement in the Potter Valley Project issue. He understood our stakeholder concerns. He took time out of his busy schedule to write FERC to oppose PG&E’s plan to remove the Eel River Dams.

Our deepest condolences to the La Malfa family, and to his staff and constituents. May Doug rest in peace. 💔
