YWCA Sonoma County YWCA Sonoma County was founded in 1976. We provide quality childcare, domestic violence services, and trauma-informed counseling.

Nationally, we're the largest provider of domestic violence services. Locally, we operate the county's only confidential Safe House for women and their children fleeing domestic violence. This program is followed by a 2-year Encore Program that provides continued counseling and support groups, as well as career- and educational counseling. We also operate three childcare programs in Sonoma County, including A Special Place Therapeutic Preschool in Santa Rosa for children affected by violence in the home, or identified by CPS as being at-risk of abuse or neglect and in Healdsburg we offer infant/toddler care and a preschool.

Join us today and stand in solidarity with victims and survivors of domestic violence.
Purple represents courage, survival, and hope. Wearing it is a simple yet powerful way to break the silence, spark vital conversations, and remind anyone currently enduring abuse that they are not alone and that help is available:

As YWCA Sonoma County marks our 50th anniversary, the reality remains dire: 𝟭 𝗶𝗻 𝟰 𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗱𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲.

When a mother gathers her children in the middle of the night with nothing but the clothes on their backs, she isn’t thinking about statistics. She is looking for a lifeline. Your support ensures that when she dials our Crisis Hotline (707-546-1234), an advocate will answer.

𝗘𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗱𝗼𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝗮 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝘆 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘆 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲.
- $100 keeps our hotline active for an entire week of crisis calls.
- $300 provides two nights of safe shelter, hot meals, and clothing for a fleeing parent and child.
- $1,000 funds an entire multi-week course of trauma-informed therapy for a child who has witnessed violence.

We cannot erase the trauma of the past 50 years, but with your anniversary gift, we can provide safety for the next generation. Please honor YWCA’s golden milestone by making your tax-deductible gift today. www.ywcasc.org
