We’re so grateful to welcome back Kristina Joy for the second Somatic Breathwork for Release class in collaboration with unplug.

Fire Disaster Grief Support Group

For anyone who has been directly impacted by the recent fire-related disasters, we invite you to join a free, supportive space to process grief and navigate the ongoing effects of loss. Led by Michael Sheley, LCSW, each session offers gentle guidance, coping strategies, and a steady community of others who understand.

We’re excited to continue our Saturday Morning Yoga Series and introduce NEW Midday Yoga this August! 🧘

These free community yoga classes, led by Kim Harrington, were created with care for those impacted by the Palisades Fire.

Saturday Morning Yoga

Join P.S. ARTS every Tuesday & Thursday from 1:00–4:00 PM at the Palisades Community Renewal Center for hands-on art workshops designed to spark creativity and self-expression.

For Ages: 5–10 yrs. Kids and families impacted by the fires are welcome to join this FREE program.

Each session features a new theme and exciting opportunities to explore painting, collage, mixed media, and more-- all while building confidence, imagination, and creative skills.

Parents are welcome to drop off or stay. Enjoy our welcoming space to catch up on work, read a book, relax, or connect with a friend while your child creates.

Join us every Wednesday from 11:30 AM–12:30 PM for free visual arts workshops led by our partners at P.S. ARTS. Whether you’re an experienced artist or simply curious to try something new, these welcoming classes offer an opportunity to create, connect, and explore your artistic side in a supportive community environment.
Each week features a different hands-on art activity, making every session a new creative adventure. Come meet new people, learn new skills, and experience the joy and healing power of making art together.

This upcoming Family Art Night is for EVERYONE -- open to the public. Please help us share about this great FREE community event!

For All Ages & Families — Everyone is welcome to enjoy hands-on art activities and learn more about the PCRC and the programs we offer!

Celebrate creativity and community at our Family Art Night on June 24th from 5:00–6:30pm. Families and participants of all ages are invited to enjoy an evening of hands-on artmaking, creating meaningful, one-of-a-kind projects together. Guided by P.S. ARTS Teaching Artist, this intergenerational experience encourages connection, creativity, and fun.

The June 24th Art night includes Squeegee Art & ASL Silhouettes, inspired by artists Clara Cristina and Nancy Rourke, in which participants create vibrant, textured prints using paint and squeegee techniques before adding a hand silhouette inspired by American Sign Language.

Hands in Sand, Mind at Ease... "Let's Do Nothing Together."

Join us for a gentle, grounding experience where you'll create calming sand tray designs inspired by Zen gardens and mandalas. Using sand, simple tools, and natural objects, you'll have space to shape, rake, arrange, explore, and simply BE.

This workshop is an opportunity to lose track of time and experience the freedom of being delightfully unproductive—no expectations, no pressure, no right way to do it. Just presence, movement, texture, and rest: balm for the nervous system.
The body can settle.
The mind can rest.
Space to BE.
